htc one M8 | About changing the regional ruu.

Hello Android Central,

I have HTC M8 from AT&T and using it in India. First off all I searched my doubts a lot and didnt find the satisfactory answer so posting this here :(

My Question is If i change the CID & MID both to match the Indian version M8 and install official RUU for indian HTC One to my phone then:

1) Will change the Radio versions to support all indian 2g/3g/4g frequencies ?
2) Will get OTA updates whenever available because till now if i try to do OTA update I got (System Varient Dedcated) Error as i know its because of the MID mismatch.

As I know in India the HTC have 2.5 Ghz Processor and mine have 2.2 Ghz. But as far as i know the radio band and hardware supports all same and is limited to the regional software side RUUs, please if anyone know about that let me know..

My phone info is:
[I unroot my phone to get ota but at the time of installation get common error "system variant found"]
[I use sunshine to S-OFF and HTC M8 all in one tool to do most of the things as well as adb]

Code:

Welcome to Android Central!

Not sure that you can flash that radio on to the phone. You can change the build # in the build.prop but I don't think that will help you get updates.
