Had to get new SIM card, now phone wont go to sleep when charging

I was having trouble connecting to the internet in my condo. Could connect anywhere. Took it to TMobile and they ran a diagnostic and gave me a new SIM card. Never found what it was, but the new Sim card fixed that problem

Now, I have the phone set to go to a blank screen, or go to sleep, 45 seconds on no activity. It used to shut off similarly if I hooked up my charger and say left it or went to bed. Now when the charger is hooked up, the phone screen never shuts off. I have tried to go to settings and cant' find where to do anything. Help?

Do you have Developer options activated? If so:

Settings>Developer options>Stay awake(Screen will never sleep while charging)>Off

Default is off but maybe T-Mobile switched it on for some reason.

for some reason, the ability to find a wifi network, well, sometimes it recognizes my router, sometimes not.

Well, you can adjust these three:

Window animation scale
Transition animation scale
Animator Duration scale

Set all three to 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, or 1.5 and see which you prefer.

Anything else and I am not responsible for your bricked phone.
