I guess there was an update today that makes my phone repeatedly make a notification sound. If I get a text message and do not look at it right away, it will make a sound until I look at it.

How do I turn it off? It is driving my insane.

Check Settings, Accessibility, Notification Reminder - as well as being able to switch it off you can change the frequency to every 15 seconds/30 seconds/1 minute/3 minutes/5 minutes

Is it the usual notification tone? Does it persist after a reboot? How about a cache partition wipe? http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc...tc-one-m8.html

It started yesterday after the HTC Service update came through on my phone.

It is not the usual notification tone. I will reboot my phone to see if that fixes my issue.

THANK YOU!!! I have no idea how that function was turned on. I guess from the update.

Had the same issue a while back
15 seconds was driving me crazy
I find the 'every 5 minutes' option useful
