I have a problem with my HTC One M8. It's not charging.

My phone only charges fine in Fastboot AC mode. If I turn it off then plug it to a power outlet it Battery Icon with Lightning will appear but it will disappear again then appear. More like a connect and disconnect behaviour.
If I let it charge like that way, my phone will get hot soon.

I tried charging it in Fastboot AC which works I'm in 60% now which I cant get in a Turned off charging. Waiting for it to go 100%. Some said it is a hardware problem. But for now I don't have time to go to a technician. So as much as possible I want to try to test things out. I bought it 2nd hand.

My pc can detect my phone and I can flash things. It's only problem is not charging. Here is my info:

I read something like this happening when i was on arhd 43 and would read the forum ..... That resetting battery stats would fix it ..... Do a search on the arhd xda forum for reset battery stats and see how to do it .... If not just try switching kernels, elementx works great or a different rom ... I have switched to srom 4.0.0 sense 7 with elementalx kernel and have zero problems its m9 firmware ported rom and really nice .....
Good luck
