Slight worried - Group messaging with iPhone users, can i still get their messages?

Not sure if anyone has experienced this.

I'm coming over from the iphone back to the M8. My mum is blind and she will sometimes send me a group message to meself and brother who also has an iphone. We were all using imessage.

Now as I'm leaving the iphone and no longer will be using imessage im worried i'll miss any important messages she sends say for in an emergency.

Just wondered with turning off imessage, should i still be able to receive any group messages she or brother will send as they both have iphones and i wont?

Since there is not an iMessage app for Android, you'll have to make sure their iMessage configuration is set to send messages via SMS. Otherwise, you will not get their messages.

As long as they are set to send via SMS, there should be no problems. You'll be able to use whichever texting app you like.
