i don't think the s6 is going to be that great either. gimped specs, no sd card and overly priced. we shall see.

Leaning toward the Edge or the S6? I'm still on the fence but I do know I'm getting either the S6 or M9.

Yeah, the price is ridiculous, and the No MicroSD card is a killer, but it looks really nice though

The Edge looks really nice, but I think I'll get the regular S6 because it will be cheaper. One of my main concerns is battery life so I wanna hear about that

Not a reflection on you smooth, just an indictment of how HTC lacks inspiration. And really...we're supposed to get excited about a partnership with UnderArmor? Puhleeze.

It's a let down for me. The hands on that was posted makes it a "smaller " device and that is a step back IMHO. I purchase phones for my company and was hoping to beat back the Samsung and iPhone plus fan boys....guess not. Thanks for nothing HTC

Yeah I currently have the Xperia Z3 and I love it. I want to change because Sony's mobile division is going downhill and unstable. I'll move back to Samsung because I have not seen any other phone which has interested me yet

I don't think it's that much of a fail. I was hoping for a face change, but that didn't happen. Other than that, the processor, main camera, and battery are improvements, all while sticking with the same footprint of the M8.

I like the idea of altering the Nav screen buttons not only order, but what is in them.

No OIS for the camera? No purchase. Phil already says he's getting mixed results from the camera. If that's what I wanted, I'd stick with my Moto x.

Honestly, I have been so close to buying an HTC phone starting with the Original one, then last year with the M8 but they continue to make the same mistakes. First of all the bezels are huge on the top and bottom making a 5 inch phone seem way to big. The bottom bezel when you combine the speakers, the HTC black bar, and then the on screen buttons it is way to much. Then the software basically nothing new. Come on HTC

Chris from Engadget is saying the camera is worse! Part of the issue is that HTC made the switch in the first place - by moving the UltraPixel tech up front and plopping a 20-megapixel Sony sensor into the M9, HTC's basically diving back into the Imaging Cold War it tried distancing itself from for a year.
That's no great sin by itself, but in my early testing (with non-final software, in fairness), the camera seems noticeably worse than that of the M8. Confused? So was I. Right out of the box, white balance and color temperature seemed inexorably screwy, while shots took with the last-gen M8 were more accurately exposed.
