Delayed Texts With AT&T M9?

Hey, I know the phone isn't out yet to everyone but I was able to get the phone through HTC themselves early. I've had it since the 2nd of April and my texts have been hella delayed since. I have replaced the SIM and also factory reset. This is deja vu from my previous M8 model but that one was just having MMS issues. This time it's both for me. Quite frustrating but I'm not on a rampage like how some get and blame AT&T and HTC for ruining their lives. Just want to know if it's just my phone or has anyone else experience this with theirs. Another good thing to try is to reset the network settings on your device. I've noticed that if I keep a messaging thread going to long it gets bogged down, so deleting text threads might help. I've had issues with this with AT&T for a while, not just on HTC phones. Also on my iPhone. Resetting my network settings usually does the trick, along with having them resending signals from the towers as @M8Guy35 mentioned.
