Is anyone else disappointed with the lower volume levels on the M9? The volume was much higher on the M7 and M8.

I haven't check the new M9, but this is the first time I hear about this issue.

I don't get it. Do you mean when you lower the volume it is not low enough?

I still have my M7 and my wife has the M8. The M9 I have now is definitely louder than the M7 but not as loud as the M8.

I agree, especially when using the speakers during a phone call.

Well. I have both in front of me now. Unless you have some special M7 you are wrong. HTC clearly stated that the M8 is 40% louder than the M7 and the M9 is only 2 decibels quieter than the M8.

The volume on calls may be another story though. I am not sure about that as I don't make calls on my M7 anymore.
