I can't get the HTC transfer tool to copy my sms messages from my old Samsung S5 to my new HTC one M9. Are there any other ways or hints on how to get this done?
    Cheers

    There is one method.
Download SMS backup+ on both phones.

    Step One: Your Galaxy S5:
Sign in with your Google Account on the app, then back up your SMS by tapping the "Backup" button.
When you're done, do the next part.

    Step Two: Your One M9:
Sign in with your Google Account on the app, then tap the "Restore" button.
In a couple of minutes, you should have all of your SMS transferred.

    Then you're finished!
