I have an android HTC6535LVW phone. I use Google Calendar. I received (on my phone) a .vcs invite (text pasted below with emails removed). When I imported the .vcs via my phone to my Google calendar, the start time was 3:30am (which was incorrect). When I looked at the same invite on my mac the file type was .ics and it imported correctly (10:30am) to both my mac calendar and my Google calendar.

I'd like to be able to import invitations directly, without errors, from email to Google via my phone. Help!

    Thanks,
    Stephanie

Are you in a different time zone than the meeting time (PST)?

Welcome to Android Central! Moved to the M9 forum. Is the person who sent the invitation in the same time zone?

The sender and the recipient are both in the same time zone, Pacific Daylight Time.

Sorry, not really sure what's going on. If you go to Google Calendar on your computer browser, select that event, and Edit it, does it specify a different time zone than PDT?

Does this happen with all invites, or just that one?

I've only just started putting things directly on my calendar from my phone, but the other one worked fine.

Maybe it was just a one-time glitch, or perhaps a corrupted file. See if it happens again.
