I have an issue updating my firmware, anyone got a solution?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!! Issue Upgrading Firmware through verizon software assistant

Hi there!

I got the upgrade to nougat and I've been trying non stop for almost 48 hours to upgrade!! I connect my phone to my PC, it opens up sync manager and it tells me there is an update for 4.49.605.11. I press update and it stays on 1% FOR EVER! LITERALLY! I even left it over night and nothing, never advanced. I tried everything from uninstalling sync manager, to re installing, to uninstalling and installing directly from my phone, downloading from official HTC site, updating drivers. EVERYTHING! Nothing worked. Every time I press update it would stay on 1% and never budge! I tried Verizon. But since I'm not subscribed with them, after a while they recommended me to go to HTC directly, I've sent them emails, DM's through twitter and nothing/no reply.

If you know a solution it would be gratefully appreciated!! My device is an HTC M9 6535LVW.

Please help! Any ideas are welcomed!

PS: I've never encountered this issue before. I've always been able to update the software with no issues in the past.

I think it should be factory reset to solve the problem
