When's the contest to win one of these for Verizon?

(feel free to declare me the winner now because it's the only way I can keep my unlimited data)

No. Power is on the right edge now.

It's pretty responsive. No delay when swiping down it to unlock.
Yeah, there's an SD slot. US will apparently get 32GB versions. Mine is European 16GB.

Same as the HTC One Mini, which in late 2013 is kinda disappointing. More in the review: HTC One Max review | Android Central

Check the software section of the review: HTC One Max review | Android Central

The Note 3 is slightly more responsive. That's not to say the Max is slow, but Snap 800 phones seem to have better touch response.

Single band Sprint LTE according to the spec sheet I have from HTC.

Yep. Check our review: HTC One Max review | Android Central

1) No, just a reader
2) No, just an IR blaster
3) It fits about as well as the Note 3 does. The curve means it doesn't bulge too much ? at least no worse than the Note 3 does.

A little, yeah. Though remember there's no Beats support on the Max.

It's really 5.9 inches.

On HtC website it's tri band though

Is use of the fingerprint scanner mandatory, or can it be turned off?

Can you use it for swiping to launch apps, but not use it for security?

How does the maximum brightness compare to the HTC One?

About the same.

Fingerptint scanner is optional, but you have to have security enabled to also use the app shortcut function.
According to "LEAKED" photos the keyboard now has emoji's is this true or was the leak fake

How about its camera, the screen is so big.

Yes. I thought the note 3 was a whopper. I would be far more interested in a 5.2" HTC one. But that's just me. After owning a note for a while... I set my limit at 5.0"/5.2"
I really like the HTC one and I'm sure HTC out did themselves with build quality here on the max as well.

Let's wait to see what the price tag will be set at.

Let's see, compared to the One it lacks the no shake camera, lacks the Boost audio, less memory, plastic back instead of aluminum, and more money. I guess if you're freaking blind and carry a purse it's great. My wife likes her Note 3.
