My HTC One Max won't power, only with the charger plugged in does it work. How can I fix this?

my htc one max wont powerup only the charger cord gsdys its tocome on and read the battery

I'm thinking that's its the power up key don't work and may need to be looked at but it can be many orhers

Welcome to the forums. The battery may be faulty too. Have you taken it to a local repair ship where they can take a closer look?
