Yeah I use DevDB, but I don't use them to host files hehe. I just link the download to my site cause I want it to be used -___-. How do you collect donations?

I am new in this mobile-unlocking-rooting thing, so i am really unsure of where to start and what to do and what not to do?
- Can i use it Win8 64?
- Do i need to do something on my phone before (e.g. developer mode, usb debugging etc)?
- Is there a specific order i need to follow (e.g. Unlock the Bootloader before Root etc.)?
- Do you have a quick guide for noobs like me ?

I am looking forward to try your tool

Q: Can I use it on Windows 8 64bit?
A: It was made for Windows 8.1 specifically, but it works on all platforms. Even XP. Just make sure you have the right usb drivers.

Q: Do I need to have my phone in a special mode?
A: Your phone should have USB Debugging on, which I believe is automatic on the HTC One.

Q: What order should I go in?
A: Unlock your bootloader, flash a recovery, root. In that order just like it is in the toolkit.

Q: Do you have a guide?
A: I am currently updating the final design of my toolkit which will unify the look of the toolkit for all phones. Once I have this update released, I can make one guide for all phones since it will essentially be the same process. Unlock your bootloader, flash a recovery, root and so forth. So the answer for now is no, but it is coming soon. But if you want, I can help you via teamviewer if you need assistance.

I have problems with step 2: Get your Token ID. I see this - but when i press a key the console closes?:

It should be adb reboot bootloader unless that is a typo. It seems adb is not working

I can check for you via teamviewer, but I suggest making sure you have drivers installed.

If you have HTC Sync then the drivers should be up to date. Hmmmm...

My next update should have newer adb and fastboot executables so I think that should fix it.

How to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows 8:

From the Metro Start Screen, open Settings (move your mouse to the bottom-right-corner of the screen and wait for the pop-out bar to appear, then click the Gear icon).
Click ‘More PC Settings’.
Click ‘General’.
Scroll down, and click ‘Restart now’ under ‘Advanced startup’.
Wait a bit.
Click ‘Troubleshoot’.
Click ‘Advanced Options’
Click ‘Windows Startup Settings’
Click Restart.

You can also try this:
