How to know how is rooted and how to unroot a used m8?

Hi to all, i bought a used m8, in the bootloader it say locked and s on, but the phone is clearly rooted cause i can get supersu working and root checker say rooted, how can i unroot it and check if is really s on and locked?

SuperSU has an unroot option built in. You can use that to unroot.

i tried but root still there :eek:

Use ES File Explorer to delete the Superuser files.


Download ES File Explorer from Google Play if needed
Give root access to ES File Explorer
Click on the slash up top.
Navigate to System folder, then “bin” folder, then find “su” file.
Select SU by holding on to it and delete it.
In the same system folder, navigate to the xbin folder and delete the su file.
In the app folder from System folder delete the Superuser.apk file.
Reboot your device.
Device should be unrooted at that point.

thx, you think it was rooted by perm root with aio tool? and the previous owner forget to remove root after back to s on and locked bootloader?
