Text message backrounds?

I was just wondering if you are able to get text message backrounds on the HTC One S. And if so, how do you do so?

Do you mean Text message widget???? Not sure what text message backgrounds are.

I don't mean using a widget, I meant that when you are on your text message page is there a way to get a backround without downloading anything?

Ohh. Yeah I think in the settings there is an option to change the theme. (im not 100% sure if you can change the background to a custom image though) Im sure someone else could answer that.
My GF currently has my HTC one S.
And of course there is always the option of downloading a different SMS app. like handcent

Might you know how to change it? Ive used handcent but im not a fan of it.

Hi!

You can change the messages background in the built-in app. Open the messages app and in the top right corner tap that dots to enter the menu. Then go to Settings -> General and find Background. You can chooose from either some HTC backgrounds or from gallery.

I looked and there is no option for a backround

I don't have that, I checked for updates and I don't have anything. Could it be because of my cellphone provider? I have iwireless.

It could be. I bought my phone from an online shop, not from a provider. My android version is 4.1.1

I only have 4.0.3 I check for updates and I don't have any. Sooo.... Yeah..
