i just bought a 16gb pny class 4 micro sd card and my htc one sv wont detect the card when I insert it, just nothing happens its like it doesn't know theres a sd card in it, but when I put it in my brothers windows phone it work also along with my old android, I got this phone from my step dad so I don't know if the micro sd card port is broken and needs replaced (if you can even do that).so if anybody has any suggestions for what to do to help fix this it would be greatly appreciated. any help?

You know for some reason I noticed that some sd cards just stop working, i had a PNY 64gb that stopped working, same with a 32gb. my friends had same problem which is weird. maybe you just have to buy a new one, or manually mount the sd card with a program or command prompt

I have the HTC one sv and have the same problem with the sd card. I have a 32 gig in mine and it works but the phone keeps saying mount card and when I press the button it says mounting card but it doesn't. Has the phone a month and started doing this today. However I do think it is reading the card because all of my photos and videos show up. Very confusing. Going to email HTC about this.

well a friend of mine said that a 4 gig would work but I have yet gotten one, and also I cant even press the mount button its not highlighted so I can
