HTC One V SD Card

I have a HTC One V. I've had it for a couple days. I really like the phone but I'm getting annoyed with it sticking. I've hear things about putting the apps on an SD card would speed the phone up and reduce lag. At first I was annoyed with games lagging but now I'm annoyed with the phone taking 5 seconds to go to the home screen. Would moving the apps to a microSD card help the speed of the phone?

not really the stock rom for the one v is kind of trash to be honest it chugs along quite frequently if your some what savy with andriod id suggest installing a custom rom such as pacman or provision and you will see an immediate improvement im running pacman 19.3 with the supersick kernel its butter smooth
