Issue with url's not being hyperlinks in stock email app

On my HTC One V (Virgin Mobile) I am using the stock email app to read my Yahoo mail. More times than not, if there is an url in the email is text and not a hyperlink. However, if I open the same email on my PC, it is a link. Any way to get it to show up as a link instead of text on the phone?

I've seen both. Unfortunately it is not consistent. For example, right now I have some emails on the phone with "http:\\" showing up as links, whereas other ones with "http:\\" are text. These are all links when I open them on my laptop.

Same thing on my nexus 10 with stock android 4.4.2. It is very annoying.haven't found a fix yet

You should try another email client like MailDroid or AquaMail.
