TestMashed ... malware or "strange-ware" ?

K. Do this:
  1. Go to Google Play Store
  2. Go to "Your Apps"
  3. Swoosh your finger right to left so you are viewing the column called "All" (not the column called "Installed")
  4. Under the All column, scroll way down to the bottom of the list.

Do you see an App on the list called TestMashed?

-On the list it shows as installed.
-Clicking on the app shows the Apps page with a note at the top saying (not compatible etc)
-The first of a few reviews says this is Malware.
-TestMashed does not show up in in the Apps list.
-It does not seem to be able to be uninstalled from that Play Store page.
-Scant details about the company on the Web.
-So far all I have found is reference to the company being bought by someone called TNS recently.
-Also reference to Apple suing the makers of TestMashed for infringing on Apple's Caller ID patents.
-Searching Google Play Store from PC shows no results for TestMashed or the authoring company.

I just picked this phone up new in the box from the AT&T store today. OTA update installed.
No non-Google apps installed by me - fresh phone.

Does anyone else see this or have solid information on what the deal is with TestMashed?

It looks like it has something to do with enhanced caller id. Htc is a customer.

Interesting!

A One X user over at XDA says he hard reset and installed his Apps one by one and the TestMashed started appearing after update to Google Maps of all things.
