email with attachment

I tried to send my OneX a email with a music track attachment. It didn't work. The music track is 7mb, what I wanted to do is.send the.music track to the phone and then assign it as the default ringtone.
Anyone have ideas how to do that please.

Lots of problems sending 7meg anything thru Email.

Use Dropbox. You get a free account, and then enhance it by uploading one photo from your phone.

Ring tones are limited to 30 seconds. 7meg seems a bit overkill for that.

Okay....how do I get a cd on the phone.

Okay....how do I get a cd on the phone.

You rip it to MP3 Files and use any of several methods to move those to your music directory on the phone.

You need a file manager such as ES File Explorer free from the market and you can move things via wifi. Failing that you can cable your phone to your computer, or, again use dropbox.
