According to this HTC One X and One S Jelly Bean updates start rolling out this month | The Verge

The ONE X should be getting Jelly Bean in October...we are in the last week so lets hope for the best.

I think it might depend on the carrier.if my memory is correct the EVO 3D got it's ICS update about 1 day after the promised deadline. So i think it's possible. What I don't know is if the schedule is for international or US versions.

Yeah, not getting my hopes up. It took forever to get the 4.0.4 update even on non-carrier branded phones. The international GS3 had it months before.

I read somewhere that the one X would not get 4.1 until after the one x+ was released. Who knows when that will happen, no word from At&T yet.

Honestly, I think HTC will not meet the October deadline here. I have the feeling they are concentrating on the Butterfly and the DNA launches, along with the One X+... I am just hoping we get it before the end of the year, but it's sad to be two months obsolete when you get a new version, since 4.2 will be released in less than a week!

I have the international version so I expect to get it before AT&T gets done dragging their feet.
But no sign of it yet, and no rumors either.
There are dodgy leaked roms running around, but going that way is just silly when the real release is this close.

Well, I've had it for a couple days, yesterday I had nearly 3 hours of screen-on time and it lasted 24 hours (started charging at 13% when I went to bed). The first night I purposely left it unplugged, and it only went down 3% overnight. Safe to say its better than stock... Tons of great options in this rom
