Welcome to Android Central.

Do you mean that you normally fully drain the battery before recharging? If so, that may have damaged the battery....it is best to recharge while the battery still has about 40% of charge. The battery may have failed. Try charging it for 24 hours....if still no good, you may need a new battery.
Of course, the problem may be something else.
