I got a U11 yesterday, set it up and then see that leak. Looks like I'll have to return it! The main thing I don't like about the phone is the fingerprint reader on the front. Hopefully its AMOLED too.

It fascinates me that people don't like the fingerprint sensor on the front.

Why so? I cannot stand any sort of visible buttons on the face of the device. It makes the device look cheap and old. The need for buttons on the front went away in 2011. 6 years later it's definitely a shame that not everyone has caught up yet.

To me, a front fingerprint sensor is much more convenient, especially when the phone is lying on my desk in front of me, and way less awkward than a rear one. Yes the u11's top/bottom bezels are a lot thicker than they could have been but I'm still glad the sensor is on the front.

Very much looking forward to this. I was disappointed with the display issues on the Pixel 2 XL and held off on upgrading my 5x. I'm hoping this U11+ will fill that space. I might prefer if they stick with LCD, which still looks great when done right.
Loved my HTC One M7 when it was new.

I haven't been with HTC since the Vivid, but the U11Plus does intrigue me. Just to refresh my memory...Do the latest HTC phones have a flashing LED for incoming emails, texts, etc? What about a space for SD cards? Got to catch up on these phones. Does anyone know if T-Mobile handles HTC phones? Thanks for any feedback.

Yes the U11 has the flashing notification light for your texts, emails and calls etc. It has a SD card slot up-to 2 teribitets. You have to buy the unlocked version through HTC for T-Mobile.

I wonder if the regular u11 will get that edge launcher side disc thing on the u11+. I like the looks of it. Maybe whenever the u11 is updated to Oreo?
