This will solve all your problems. I am waiting for the final production. Should be ready any day now.

I have to admit that's an interesting looking option, but at $100 on sale ($130) regularly, it's a bit pricey for me at this point. I'd probably settle for a $20 Bluetooth adapter for now and settle for a little lower-quality sound in my car.

If I were looking for a wider use wireless solution, however, this one sure looks like it could work.

Interesting. I'm intrigued

They were supposed to be ready by June, but some delays occurred. Hopefully by mid August. Looks like the answer for high fidelity wireless use of any standard headphones or earbuds, and it can convert your home audio system into a bluetooth speaker for use with you phone or with Alexa.

Tried a few products on Amazon that didn't work, got discouraged, someone on XDA said this adapter worked, so I gave it a shot, and I can confirm it works with the HTC U11! It does not work with the USB-C headphones included however, but if you use the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, then you can use that with this hub and you will be able to charge (and quick charge) while listening to headphones.

Excellent, thanks for the report! That's exactly the one I was thinking about buying, and it's great to hear that it works. Have you noticed any decrease in sound quality compared to goint straight out of the phone via the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter?

That was my concern too.

The original poster is looking for something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Headphone-Ad...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6001110

A simple 2-in-1 usb type-c splitter cable. There are several adapter cables like it, and most of them (likely) won't work with the HTC U11 - they are meant for the Moto Z line of phones.

I have a HTC U11 and don't have BlueTooth support in my car so I'm in the same boat. Since audio quality isn't so important to me while driving -- I mostly listen to Podcasts anyways if I'm driving -- I went with a BT Adapter solution. I got one that has a battery in it, because I can't stand cables running all over my car seat while I'm driving.

Hi Marsui

I bought this adapter but I am not able to get both 3.5mm headphones or the charging to work.

1) Charging - I see 2 options on the phone when I connect the adapter - Use usb for a) Supply power to the adapter b) charge the phone. I selected b) multiple times but it doesn't switch and the charging doesn't start. It keeps providing power to the adapter.
2) the headphone is not even detected and all music plays through phone speaker (of course).

Anything that can help?

Thanks so much
Nilesh

The Bluewave Get arrived today. Wow. Sound is fantastic. Now anyone can charge phone and listen to music at the same time. Can't wait for the Oreo update with aptx HD. Nougat only has aptx. Usonic headphones won't work with the Bluewave Get. Need 3.5 mm headphones. I am using the Harman Kardon headphones that came with my old M8. Just wow. Sure, no noise cancelling, but the sound is amazing. Bluewave pairs with my iPhone 7P, but the U11 bluetooth sound is much better.
