Received a delivery update from Amazon, my new estimated delivery date is August 6-September 19. I placed the order on June 20, after my HTC order was cancelled.

Pr3dict: I agree...I ordered mine as well from Amazon on May 26th with release date (like everyone else on Amazon) of June 21st. I just received email from Amazon with "Good news"... My U12 will ship sometime between August 7th and September 23rd. Seriously, what just happened?

Really disappointed with HTC & Amazon both.

Yeahhh this is the bs I'm talking about. It's ridiculous that there hasnt been any statement about this screw up.

I still haven't received an email from Amazon so you're one step ahead of me.

Yeah. Got same email too. Not sure what's going on lol. That's one month away. Geezzzzzz...

Can't get this phone anywhere else. HTC.com will put you on hold until July.

Will the price be the same????

Not bad for the first day.

Cameras are also bada$$

3 hours screen on time is only an hour more than what I was getting on my old phone so for me not much of an improvement. I decided to go with the Huawei p20 Pro in the end. First day I got almost 7 hours screen on time. Well impressed.

That's awesome!

I think so. I'm not a heavy user so, this gets me by. It's definitely not the best. I have some screen shots from the One M8 battery that is insane. Like 6 1/2 hours SOT and almost a full 48 hours off the charger. I don't need a two day phone though. I need a phone to get me through with heavy spotify streaming, quite a bit of camera usage and some browsing. I'm pretty sure my phone is, besides a communication device, mostly an MP3 player and a camera.

As someone who has worked in customer service for a number of years, reacting in anger and asking for refunds/threatening to cancel orders will not go very far in many situations. I understand that you are angry, but reacting in such a way will not, in many instances, get you the response you want. HTC is most likely trying to process all orders and is likely very busy trying to get it done by the end of June as stated; so perhaps that is why the site is down or lagging. I suggest waiting until the end of the month and seeing what happens then. Using positive and/or understanding language may help (ie, "I understand that you are very busy, but I would appreciate a response to my message when you have the opportunity").
