txt message issues

Hey all, about once a week since I got my phone, it will stop sending and recieving txt messages. If I pull the battery and reboot it seems to fix the issue. Any one have any ideas on real fix for this. Phone is about 2 weeks old. Thanks.

Is it necessary to pull the battery? What if you just hit the reboot feature when you power down? From what I've seen, it seems like the phone might have to be rebooted like this every so often in order to just clear everything and start fresh.

I too, reboot the phone about once a week. I've never had any technical issues with my Vivid, and maybe that's because i do some "preventive maintenance".
