HTC will not let me send text

My HTC vivid just stop sending text i get a pending notice for them i can receive them but cant send i cleaned out my inbox any ideas. please

Turn power off and on? I was having problems receiving attachments on my texts (pictures, etc.) and called 611. The first thing they said was turn it off and on. I had not done that for 3-4 weeks, just charging in between. It seems that they need to be power cycled once in a while, to clear memory.

Thanks it worked back to being able to text.
