Here is what I have tried
1. renamed camera_click.ogg in /system/media/ui to camera_click.ogg.bak, wiped dalvik cache, wiped app cache, rebooted, Still there is shutter sound.
2. deleted camera_click.ogg in /system/media/ui. wiped dalvik cache, wiped app cache, rebooted, Still there is shutter sound.
3. deleted camera_click.ogg in /system/media/ui. wiped dalvik cache, wiped app cache. Backed up stock camera app using titanium backup, rebooted, installed stock camera app from backup. rebooted. Still there is shutter sound.
I guess the camera shutter sound is integrated into the apk file. In that case, Can somebody who has a "silence Shutter Sound" option in their wildfire S, upload backed up apk file of their stock camera app.
Or if Somebody has some other solution please help. Silencing camera shutter is the top reason I have rooted my phone.
