I read a few posts on Reddit and other sites that claim the US version works with VoLTE and wifi calling...I'm very skeptical! Anyone here validate please?

Answering my own question. VoLTE does work on ATT, no wifi calling. Tested myself.

I have the BLA-A09, got it from Amazon. As much as I like the phone, I was hoping it had better reception(the Mate 9 had an amazing radio and reception), I need wifi calling at home(I dropped a few calls), so I am sending it back and going back to my S9+.

I just ordered one in Amazon and they dropped to 549$ but this is disheartening news.

I've had mine for about 6 months and am very happy with it. I bought a new car last year and the M10P wouldn't connect with Android Auto. However, with the update to Pie, it now works smashingly. The other downside is the EMUI interface; I'm not a huge fan. However, I switched to the Nova launcher and it is now as it should have been! Battery life is amazing; I am a heavy user (meaning I use it a lot, not that I'm fat), and have never had it go below 45% with all-day heavy use. I am also convinced that Huawei phones are tougher than Samsung phones. I had the original Note, an S4 and a Note 4 and all of them had toughness issues. The GPS quit working on the note after 18 months. The S4 was replaced three times under warranty. The Note 4 was run over by a car. Well, OK, that wasn't a quality issue, but I decided after that that I wouldn't spend over $500 on a new phone. I got my unlocked 10P for $500 on amazon.
