Hi Tsepz,

My next question maybe a bit technical in the photography aspect but I think many will like to know the answer.

Are we able to process the RAW files from this phone with Adobe Light Room 6 or Elements?

If you do not have these post processing programs. Is it possible that you share a RAW file and let us work on it?

Many thanks
Please DM me your email address or the address you want me to send them to.

Battery Life is absolutely solid on this device, I am thoroughly impressed

I do think the phone has settled in with my apps and usage.

Used it in Performance Mode between yesterday and today, the end result in terms of Battery life:

I don't think I could go back to a 'normal' phone now with average battery life my M10 Pro destroys every phone I've owned before and Huawei are just stretching that battery life even further with the M20 Pro and X. I've forgotten what it's like to have battery anxiety

Absolutely agreed! The Mate 10 Pro I had for review last year was also simply incredible with battery life and I am glad the Mate 20 Pro is just like that as well.

It gets me how Underrated these devices are. You can absolutely beat it and the battery just keeps chugging on and on, and then plug it in to the charger and just an hour later it's 100% and ready for more poundings

Could you comment on the overall system fluidity?

I know the P20 Pro suffers from some very specific issues - like stuttering and frame rate drops while using Google Photos. Have you noticed anything similar with the Mate 20 Pro?

Is the gesture functionality as fluid as the iPhone X/XS?

The device is incredibly fast and fluid throughout its UI, the only time I do see some slowdown is in the Gallery as I do have some RAW images and high quality 4K videos sitting in there, but otherwise it is fast throughout day to day usage. :)

The gestures are almost exactly like the iPhone X S, and just as smooth, the only issue is when you want to go back in an app you need to swipe from the left or right side of the display and in the beginning it can be hit or miss.

  • how's the screen in your opinion compared to iPhone X? how is max brightness?
  • have you tried max sound with bluetooth headphones?
  • When you place the phone with screen off, on a wireless charger, does the screen turns on for about 15 seconds? It's annoying on samsung phones.
  • Can the battery icon be hidden and instead just show battery percentage with bigger font?
  • Also I had just bought a HDMI to USB C cable for samsung DeX but I can still return it. Do you notice any difference at all in speen using wireless vs cable for desktop mode?

1. I will have to try get the iPhone X and compare, but the display is bright, but I do not believe it's brighter than iPhone X

2. Yes, it's quite loud via BT headphones, I neve put it on full volume.

3. Will have to test this and get back to you.

4. No, battery icon cannot be hidden but you can hide the writing

5. I will need to test this I have not had enough time to test the Easy Projection

Sorry to butt in but yeah. It has a 'Recently Deleted' folder which holds your deleted photos for 30 days. You can restore them at any point then they're permanently deleted after they period.
