where is emui 9.1...really delayed or what...indian unit dual sim factory unlocked

It's annoying the hell out of me and my M20Pro isn't even my main phone now. What makes it more frustrating is seeing tech news sites constantly telling me Huawei will be releasing Android Q for these phones in the next month or so. In Huawei's world that just means it won't actually reach us for months

That's what I found too. "Rolling out now" usually means two to three months later, if lucky.

Don't get your hopes up too much. 9.1 has been showing in my HiCare app since 26th June but you can't actually download it

I'm in Australia, on Optus network and I downloaded and installed my 9.1 update last night. The support of 3rd party apps on AOD is so handy in this update.

New faster file system, third party notifications on the Always On Display, some camera improvements... that's about it really. The always on display thing is a big thing for me personally. Been wanting that like forever

I still wonder what problem are we solving with upcoming devices going with a faster file system. Seems like devices are more about spec wars than adding something meaningful. Guess we will have to compare systems in action.

The thing with this phone is I don't think it even needed it. It's already lightening fast as it is. Side by side with my Pixel 3XL there's no contest. It's easily faster in every department and I don't even usually pay attention to speed tests etc. What's a fraction of a second between phones?

Well a faster file system would be more noticable for transferring files and installing large apps and updates. It will have some impact on the daily usage but I question whether it's really needed.

Where are you located?
I'm not seeing it here in the US yet.

I'm looking but maybe a little impatient.

Are you setup in the USA on your phone? I just got mine, went through the steps for USA but now wondering if after reading other posts about Setup : settings>region> change USA to Singapore> then changing HiCare also to Singapore will get faster results for updates than just leaving it in USA. I reset everything this morning and will wait a few days to see if any feedback comes.
Thanks for any help!
