Difference between Middle East & European versions

Hi,

I'm looking forward to buy a Huawei phone, probably the mate 9 but I've a question about if there's any difference between middle eastern model and the European model. I'm planning to buy it from Europe but I'll use it in UAE.

In specific, I'm asking about the difference between:

Mate 9, Dual Sim, Europe Version (MHA-L29C432)
Mate 9, Dual Sim, Middle East Version (MHA-L29C185)

I don't believe that there is a difference other than warranty, meaning buying a Euro model for usage in UAE would have no warranty in UAE. But you can contact Huawei customer customer support to verify

If it's about the warranty, then I'm aware of this of course. I was just assuming faster updates to the European models since vast majority of people in middle east use low 8 mid huawei phones which don't get too much attention in terms of updates anyway. I'm assuming that the European build quality is better (but I'm not sure).
I may skip this model afterall since the Mate 10 is on the way so I think I'll prefer to wait the Mate 10 to buy if I like it, else I'll opt for the Mate 9 instead.
