Is call quality not a thing anymore?...How does the speakerphone sound on both ends of a call?...

Ok, so what, I'm 50 now and though screen quality and battery life are important, processor speed and memory is real too, sure a great camera would be fun...but no one speaks to call qaulity anymore, how does it sound? does the speakerphone on both ends of a phonecall sound great or does it sound like a wind tunnel or two cans and a string?...
I want to own this phone...but no one is reviewing phone call quality anymore...have we progressed so much it's great in every phone made now?...any help would be fantastic, and try not to be too hard on the old man...

I think yes!! that's it, we're in 2017 and stuff like this isn't a big problem.

Almost 65 here with 50% hearing loss in the right ear.
I have the Mate 9 and find voice call quality fine on the T-Mobile network.
Also never had any complaints from others I speak with.
The speakerphone is loud and clear for me also.
