    Hi All

I am new to Huawei, coming from Samsung S4 Mini. Previously with my Samsung, i got badge notificatios showing my unread message counts on apps like; Facebook, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Skype, Gmail etc

But with this new version of Android on the Huawei there is no option to set this up. The only apps on this phone that have the message counter are the stock standard apps like; Messaging, Email, Phone.

I know there is the notification panel - but if these are swiped clear, then there is no reminder as to what messages have not been read yet.

Please help! I keep forgetting to respond and read emails !

Welcome to Android Central! This function is dependent on the launcher, so if there aren't any options with the Huawei stock launcher to do this, then you need to install a 3rd party app. Try Notifyer Unread Count, or install the 3rd party launcher Nova Launcher and use TeslaUnread.
