Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Market Help forum to the Huawei P20 forum for more specific traffic.

Do you mean that you're going to Settings>Apps, selecting YouTube, then tapping Disable?

I'm sorry I posted it the wrong place =) and for my bad English .
But yes, exactly.
And it keeps enabling itself every time. I can't understand why or how?

Are you rebooting your phone frequently, or is there an option to automatically reboot the phone overnight?

I don't reboot the phone frequently or automatically over night, it just enable itself.
I disabled it yesterday evening and today also.
Should I reboot the phone frequently?

No, rebooting frequently isn't necessary. Is the Play Store app set to automatically update apps? If so, try turning that off and updating apps manually. A disabled app shouldn't be able to update, but maybe there's something different with Huawei's firmware that allows it -- so when it updates automatically, it gets reenabled.

It appears that the YouTube app is a preinstalled system app that one can only "uninstall updates"to and cannot truly uninstall it. Similar to Facebook and Chrome and Google quick search .

If you truly want to uninstall YouTube, you will have to use the adb command prompt and shell to remove com.google.android.youtube .

Right, but on most devices, if you can Disable a preinstalled app, it should stay Disabled until/unless you re-enable it yourself -- it shouldn't re-enable on its own. Can you try disabling your YouTube app and seeing if it gets re-enabled on its own?

So it's only possible to disable the for a little while until it enable itself again?

One thing you could try, if you already haven't is go to Apps, then YouTube and check select "disable" . I don't think this will however work long term.Screenshot_20200124_125104_com.android.settings.jpg

Yes, you're right. So OP should try this approach first before the nuclear one .

Edit just read his response after this. I'll try and see what happens.

I have also deleted the update to it before I disable it. But somehow nothing works.
It's like it living its own life
Strange. I just disabled mine and also uninstalled updates. Rebooted and it's still disabled. , So much so that the icon is gone also.
