    Hi All,
I love my P20Pro, but 1 thing realy gets me.

On approx 75% of calls if I hold my phne in my left hand at approx 45°(ear to mouth) my caller says 'are you under water?' I change the phone to my right hand at approx 45°(ear to mouth) and my caller says great I can hear you now, no problems.

There is no lint/dust in the mic hole.

I have used the voice recorder to test holding the phone in the left and right hand mic operation... the recordings were the same!!!

    Any ideas???

    Thnx

Welcome to Android Central! See where the primary mic is located: https://usermanual.wiki/Huawei/HUAWE...lpdf.426442166. Is it possible that part of the phone is getting obscured when you hold the phone in your left hand?

I would suggest putting in safe mode also see how the calls are in either hand .

The voice recorder uses the mic at the top, the phone (when not using the speakerphone) uses the mic at the bottom - and you're probably covering it with a finger or your palm when you hold the phone in your left hand. Hold the phone up near the middle, not at the bottom.
