I was offered a deal as a loyal customer for a P30 Pro. The Pro is free. Currently have a pixel 2xl. Was thinking of buying the pixel 4xl next month though.

Wondering if the P30 Pro will receive security updates for the next couple of years? Do Huawei update security patches regularly?
Anyone come from a 2xl to a P30 Pro?
I went from a Pixel 2 to the P30 Pro. I'm currently on the August security update so they are fairly regular with updates. Android 10 should arrive in a few weeks, November I think. Apparently all future updates should be fine. The screen is better and bigger than the Pixel 2 but obviously maybe not so the 2 XL. One of the main reasons I swapped was the P30 camera. The software is better on the pixel but I just wanted the incredible zoom and night photos of the Huawei.
Oh, and the charging speeds and battery life are incredible.
What colour did you get?
Black. The aurora model wasn't in stock.
Their Black is still pretty sleek, though! I know what you're saying about the Aurora. It's beautiful!
Late to the party but I honestly charge it 20min before bed to about 85-90 . Toss it ultra power saver mode . Then go from 5'20am to about 10pm heavyish use (social media, reading, pokemon go, smart watch connected, streaming music while I drive) I think k my 2x in 3 months I've gone bellow 30% by the end of the day .
Wow! That's a pretty durable battery!
