How can i make full screen while i use apps on huewei p8 lite

I HAVE HUAWEI P8 lite, same like home screen ,i am not able to utilise the screen while using apps, upside and navigation is not transparent ,in short my phone is 5 inches but i will only get 4.5 inch screen when i use apps like whatsap messenger etc. any solution?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that the nav buttons never disappear while you're in an app? Immersive mode depends on the app. Do the nav buttons disappear if you're watching YouTube fullscreen?

hello..
while watching you tube navigation buttons does not disappear. only on home screen mode it is transparent.. all other application while i am using top and bottom is not transparent,which consume the display inches..can you dig out solution for this issue please

oops,I am sorry.. while using full-screen mode navigation buttons disappear on watching you tube..on fullscreen mode navigation button will disappear,i need the same while using other apps also. is it possible.??

I'm not sure, since that's usually up to the developer to incorporate into the app. You could try GMD Full Screen Immersive Mode, or one of the Similar Apps listed there.
