Gmail contact sync

I try all my possible ways but can not get sync my gmail contacts with my phone, my one is a Huawei P9 Plus Chinese version, hope anyone can help me

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps>All. Is Google Play Services installed? The Chinese version might not be Google Play certified, which means it might have issues with Google syncing.

Go to Settings>Accounts​. Tap Google if you see it, then see if the Contacts option is switched on.

I literally just posted this question, and didn't see this. im having the same problems, any help would be great
