Huawei P9 lite cant connect to public wifi

When im at home my Huawei P9 lite wifi independently connects and works fine.

But when im in a public place with free wifi ie Asda, MacDonalds, or in my work place, I connect it, tick the t&c's, the little wifi symbol appears at the top of my screen but when I try logging onto the internet it just says its offline, aaaghhh everytime.*

Ive looked in my security settings but cant see what would be blocking this.
Can anyone advise please?

You can firstly confirm this wifi can be used for other phone. You may delete this WiFi in your phone and reconnect it. Just have a try.

Some WiFi requires you to confirm their terms and agreement before having full access of the Internet. Did you get any pop up doing so ?

Based on what the op said, they already agreed to the terms yet wifi still didn't work
