Try going back to CWM, flash both your data and cache, then reflash MIUI.

I have heard MIUI is a bit buggy but it shouldn't be that bad.

    Taken from the unrevoked FAQ:

I'm running Linux and it won't detect my device!

Either run the program with root permissions, or add appropriate udev rules to the file /etc/rules.d/51-android.rules. Instructions are available at the Android Developers website.
Not sure whether that would also cause what's happening to you, but worth a shot.

You mean it stops when flashing a ROM? I would try a different ROM if so.

Hey guys, I've been nervously waiting for a few minutes and nothing has happened so here's the scenario:

I've ran revolutionary just according to the directions and did the zerging root line, sending in caroline, cleaning up, rebooting to fastboot, then the lemons line. After that it says waiting for fastboot, and my Dinc2 is stuck on the fastboot usb screen, the up/down buttons dont work.

It's been at this screen for probably 10 minutes now. Is this normally how long it takes?

UPDATE: I fixed this problem by doing it in Ubuntu, super slick and easy! Thanks so much to everyone who worked on the project!

Did you install the drivers and uninstall htc sync? About the only thing I can think if since the wizard is popping up

I found the drivers and installed them. I couldn't find htcsync on my machine. Then I looked at the clock and went to sleep.

So I haven't done any more. Thanks for the reply.

How do I find sync if I have it?

In the OP, did you click on the "HERE" to install the drivers mentioned?

Using the following guide we will gain S-OFF, install a custom recovery (ClockworkMod), and get Superuser access (Sexy).

Note: Windows Users must download and install HTC Fastboot Drivers beforehand. [HERE]
If you did, then you should see the HTC drivers listed in your add/remove software screen.

It's very important to read through all the steps several times before giving this a try. it makes the process lots easier.

Does Revolutionary come with a ClockworkMod in it? So when It prompts you do all you need to do is select it (clockworkmod)? or do you need to put a .zip in the root of your sd prior to this whole process (like how you need to put the superuser.zip at the root before doing this)

Just switched over from the fascinate so I know how much of the process works, but HTC is kind of a totally different ball game when it comes to rooting
