I have issues in the sun only with the home screen. Everything is ok. Not great but not horrible. Not using their reflective product just standard protector.

I think it's OFF/50%/100% but I could be wrong.

I think you are right. Auto seems to do a nice job for me except in direct sunlight it doesn't want to turn the screen all the way up for me. Or maybe I'm imaging things lol.
