Im going to start this thread with the latest availible Roms. Now that Gingerbread is released in Canada, be on the lookout as these developers will be implimenting GingerBread into there custom Roms. Im going to post up the basis of installing the Rom. The developers are always upgrading and customizing things with them so its best to check the source link provided, to stay on top of the latest Rom development.

Re: Infuse 4G Custom ROM Thread

Infused. (Different versions are availible, but this is the basis to all verisons)

How to perform a full installation from stock: (Downloading Rom Manger per the instructions, is by far the easiest way to install this rom......Mr. Terrigno approves!)

1) First get root and install modded 3e recovery. (modded 3e recovery how-to at the bottem)
2) Install ROM Manager from the Market and launch it.
3) Select "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" and choose "Galaxy S i9000".
4) If you've booted into CWM recovery since installing it, skip to step 5. If not, select "Reboot into Recovery". When 3e recovery comes up, select reinstall packages by pressing the power button. You will have to select it twice and then CWM recovery will come up. Select "reboot system now".
5) In ROM Manager, go to "Download ROM", select my section (gtg465x), select the latest release, and hit the download button.
6) When you get to the "Installation Type" prompt, select "Full".
7) Select your addons and follow the on screen prompts.
8) When you get to the "ROM Pre-Installation" prompt, select "Wipe Data and Cache". You can uncheck "Wipe Dalvik" as it's included in "Wipe Data and Cache".
9) Press OK and hold your breath. When 3e recovery comes up, just select reinstall packages.

Re: Infuse 4G Custom ROM Thread

Bionix Infinity

Install Instructions For Green ClockWork and Modified Recovery 3e: (Check XDAs Main Samsung Infuse Development Forum for the Proper Files)

The install instructions are for phones that have been rooted and have the proper recovery installed. If you are not sure or don't please goto the main forum of XDA and download the proper sources.

Also, a word of advice to the in-experienced. It is best to install a ROM with a battery that has been fully charged. Otherwise you are going to have to WIPE the battery stats. If you flash a rom and it seems like your battery is "off", I assure you , that is most likely the problem. Plus it takes at least 72 hours to get an accurate reading.

1.) If you are in windows , make sure you have the proper drivers installed. If you don't have them , google it.

2.)Plug USB cord in and allow it to Mount USB Storage. Copy the ROM(a.ka install zip) to the SDCARD.

3.) If you are on another rom that has the Extended Power Menu, hold the power button down and choose "Recovery" from the menu. Otherwise, open up Rommanager and reboot into recovery.

4.)If you get the original 3e recovery, choose "Reinstall Packages" .

5.) When you finally get to the Clock Work Recovery screen, you can choose to wipe your data. Otherwise proceed to step 6.

6.) Choose install zip from sdcard, choose the zip file and choose yes to install.

7.) The most IMPORTANT THING THAT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH. AFTER YOU INSTALL THE ROM, OR ANY OTHER ROM, REBOOT AND LET THE PHONE SIT FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES.

8.) If you are having issues, it might be due to not wiping then entire phone. Sometimes it is best to wipe DATA, CACHE , DBDATA and SYSTEM. But CAUTION, you will lose your apps , so please make a backup first.

9.) Enjoy and send me lots of thanks or money

Re: Infuse 4G Custom ROM Thread

Refuse

Installation:
If you are coming from another ROM, manually wipe data and cache via CWM before installing.

1.Download Refuse_v1.7_CWM.zip.
2.Copy to /sdcard
3.Reboot into Recovery (Red, Green, doesn't matter!)
4.Install zip from SD
5.Choose Refuse_v1.7_CWM.zip
6.First boot will be slow. If you do not currently use a ROM with a Voodoo Kernel, it will take a bit longer.
