Hey, I just got my HTC Inspire 4g a couple of weeks ago, and I was thinking of rooting it. I know tht it'll take off htc sense from my phone, and void my warranty, but does that mean i wouldnt be able to use the features from htcsense.com on my phone? Like "find my phone?"

Thx.

Well, once rooted, you will still have Sense.

But if you install a ROM, that ROM will remove Sense and all its components and replace it with its own binaries.

There are other options out there for finding your phone. Once you root it, you can sideload 3rd party apps and you won't have to use HTC services.
