Hello guys I am a new member to Android Central. I currently own an EVO 3D and wish to root it if it safe to do so with Sprint's insurance program deal. I am just a few months into the Android experience and wish to maximize its potential.

Welcome to Android Central. You can certainly root your device, it will in the "rooted" state default your warranty and Sprints TEP program. But... There are guides to return your device to factory stock in the event you need to have work done on your device by Sprint.

Hit the EVO 3D forum for more information.
