Phone wont boot into any rom other than cyanagenmod 7

I recently decided to root my evo 3d and try out some new roms. I installed Cyanagenmod7 and it works fine but it is still in alpha stages for the evo 3d so I wanted to try some different roms. I've installed Synergy, Clean rom, and Viper. All of these get to the loading screen that is shown right before the phone actually starts but it always freezes. It will stay frozen for hours if you let it. I have done everything I can think of. I delete the cache and the user data but it never fails to freeze in that boot screen. What can I do?
