Help My In New Condition Nexus 7 Wont Turn On!!

Hello I have a 6 month old nexus 7 and so far I LOVE it but today after school I came to find my nexus not turning on. HELP??? First off I have only dropped it once with a good strong case less then 3 feet down. Also I have never EVER let the battery drain I think the lowest it has ever been to is 30%. I have never bumped it and yesterday I noticed a small scratch in the bottom. I too make sure to never leave it out in the hot sun. Is this able to be fix?? Can I return it?? AKA: bought at fredmeyer. Please help, Thank you
