Just recently jumped ship from the iPhone to Android. I bought the HTC Inspire 4G last week, and I love it. For the past 2 years I had my iPhone jailbroken and love messing about with the guts of OS's.
I am now starting to learn about rooting the Android... seems to me a bit more involved, but I can hang with that, just another fun challenge. Correct me if I am wrong, but, it looks like I need to root my device to get rid of all of the bloatware that came preloaded. I can't stand killing an app and having it just pop back up 2 mins later. (Asphalt 5 - lame) Anyhow, just introducing myself here and wanted to share my joy of being free of Apple products... well except for my old school iPod...still working and I'll run it 'till the wheels fall off
