I keep looking to see which Android system I have but can't find mine. My phone info says I'm running Android 8.1.0. I'm using an LG Rebel 4. Is there a way to update my version or do I even want to? Help. I don't think I even picked the right category. Sorry about that.

That is the OS version you're currently running (8.1.0). Updates are only available if the manufacturer (and carrier, if it's a carrier version) have released it for that specific model. Since yours is a very old model, I doubt there are any available updates but you can always check it at the manufacturer's site.

In addition, the Rebel is a budget phone -- manufacturers will rarely update their budget line (especially LG).
